The Show
We would like to bring our wool/fleece producing animals to you and your event. We introduce different breeds of sheep, goats and alpaca's with what, where, and why information, then shear a sheep or goat and finish the show by giving away the fleece.
This takes place in a shearing shed setting and there is a full commentary.
Accompanying the shearing show is the farm yard.
The Farmyard
Animals normally in this farm yard, are sheep, lambs, goats, kids, alpaca, cria's, hens, chickens and ducks. These animals will all interact with people of all ages. We stay open for the same hours as your show.
The aim is to have fun while learning, bringing back memories for the mature aged and show the young people, close up, the fun of farm animals.
We have three options
1, Shearing show with plant powered by electricity with wool/fleece producing animals and interactive farm animals.
2a, Heritage based show with old petrol engine powered machines and wool/fleece producing animals.
2b, Heritage based show with old petrol powered machines, and wool/fleece producing animals and interactive farm animals.
Requirements for all options
Flat ground, maximum size required sixteen metres wide and eight metres deep, with room for vehicle to be parked behind the display. Electricity supply to run PA, lights and electric shearing plant. Water peferably on site or within fifty metres of the site.
We supply, fencing, tents, sound system, waterless hand wash and fans.
We have Public Liability Insurance and Blue Cards.
